grew up in California, where she acquired her BFA at California State University Long Beach. There she was able to study under renowned LA artist John Lincoln. Like most artists Paula works with design, values, temperatures and hues. When not painting, here or during travels, she teaches. Her most cherished experience was teaching plein air to a group of Milwaukee inner city children along with Artists Working in Education (AWE). She also participates in various Plein Air Events. Paula believes we all have artistic abilities, that inner passion is what drives the artist, not talent. |
